For the final assignment of the PFSA (Professional Football Scouts Association)’s Level 2 – Opposition Analysis in Football course, I completed a report on Liverpool’s victorious performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the 2018/2019 (European) Champions League. I could rely on the video of the full game, statistical match reports from Wyscout and Instat, and any piece of data or information that I was able to find online. I received the grade 90 and this is the message sent by the instructor who was in charge of assessing my report:
Outstanding report!
The use of graphics in your report was impressive! The diagrams and visuals you included not only looked great, but they also did an amazing job of simplifying complex tactics and plays. Your visual representations of player movements, formations, and strategies made the report much easier to understand.
Your analysis of key moments in the matches was spot on. You provided a clear and concise breakdown of tactical changes, showing a strong grasp of the strategy and tactics involved.
Overall, your report was fantastic! It was engaging and entertaining, and it was obvious that you put a lot of effort into creating it.
Keep up the excellent work
