For about a year, as part of my MA in political science, I researched the Milk Tea Alliance (MTA), a transnational solidarity network originating in the convergence of Hongkongese, Thai and Taiwanese activists in 2020. While there are a few studies about it, most of the discussion comes from media reports, think tanks and activists themselves. The goal of this project was to realise the first in-depth analysis of the MTA rooted in the sociology of mobilizations (or social movements).
